**Engineering Manager, Mobile Developer Experience** **About the Team** Our team empowers DoorDash Mobile engineers, championing Quality, Velocity, and Efficiency. We build infrastructure enabling engineers to build, ship, and operate apps at massive scale with confidence and ease. **About the Role** Lead the Mobile Developer Experience team (Mobile Foundations), setting technical vision and fostering world-class mobile application culture. You'll focus on ZeroKit (rapid mobile prototyping via agents) and two horizontal infrastructure pillars: iOS and Android monorepos. Partner with senior engineers and stakeholders to design faster, more reliable, and efficient systems. Support DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo brands across growing international engineering footprint. **Required Locations:** San Francisco, CA | Sunnyvale, CA | Seattle, WA | Los Angeles, CA | New York, NY **Key Responsibilities** • Develop foundational components enabling DoorDash engineers to excel at mobile engineering • Lead ZeroKit development and strategy for rapid mobile prototyping • Manage iOS and Android monorepos as key infrastructure pillars • Champion data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement • Collaborate with leadership on long-term architectural direction • Guide team through ambiguity using industry best practices • Drive cross-functional alignment on high-impact initiatives • Build, sustain, and grow a diverse team **Required Qualifications** • 7+ years hands-on software development with expert proficiency in Android or iOS • 3+ years leading engineering teams • Strong bias for action and pragmatic problem-solving • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact • Deep understanding of building quality software while delivering customer value **Compensation & Benefits** $193,800 – $285,000 USD base salary (location-dependent) Equity grants available.
