**Software Engineer, Communication Platform** **About the Role** We're looking for a strong engineer passionate about building scalable systems to help drive innovation on our communication platform at Chime. You'll develop fullstack—from backend infrastructure to mobile messaging interfaces—serving millions of members. As a foundational team member, you'll drive key architectural changes powering our messaging layer. **Salary & Compensation** $133,000 - $184,000 base salary (depending on location, skills, and experience) • Bonus eligible • Competitive equity package • Full benefits **What You'll Do** • Design, develop, test, release, and scale mobile and backend architecture changes • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex problems • Develop thoroughly tested code with strong quality assurance • Deliver goals independently and as a team to accelerate velocity **What You Bring** • Minimum 3 years fullstack development experience • Backend development experience (GraphQL, Ruby a plus) • Mobile development experience (React Native a plus) • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills • Understanding of architectural patterns for large-scale production services • Passion for learning, knowledge sharing, and attention to detail • Strong empathy for end users **About Chime** Chime is a financial technology company empowering millions to achieve financial progress through user-friendly tools and intuitive platforms.
