YC company, SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 certified. **📍 Location** Fully remote - welcome candidates from anywhere in the US! **💼 Role Summary** As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll own internal data systems and pipelines. Responsible for ingestion, transformation, and warehousing that power reporting across the company. You'll consolidate a stack currently spread across Segment, Hevo, BigQuery, and Omni into a single source of truth, and partner closely with GTM operations. **🛠️ Responsibilities** • Own data pipelines end-to-end (ingestion, transformation with dbt, BigQuery warehousing, Omni reporting) • Audit and consolidate existing data systems toward a single source of truth • Build and maintain dbt models with tests, documentation, and clear contracts • Establish data quality, observability, and reliability practices • Own product analytics: instrumentation, event tracking, and usage metrics • Partner with GTM operations on reporting consolidation and AI automation foundations • Support external research and reports with data validation • Lay groundwork for high-volume and streaming ingestion (OpenTelemetry) **✔️ Qualifications** • Bachelor's in CS or related field, or equivalent experience • 4+ years hands-on data engineering building production pipelines • Proficiency with dbt, cloud data warehouse (BigQuery), and ETL/ELT tooling • Strong SQL and general-purpose language skills (Python) • Data modeling expertise with focus on quality and reliability • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Fluent, critical use of AI in day-to-day engineering • Plus: High-volume/streaming systems, CDP/ETL tools, or startup experience **💰 Compensation** • Salary: $175,000 - $205,000 • Competitive equity package **🌴 Perks & Benefits** • 100% covered medical, dental & vision insurance • Unlimited PTO & flexible hours • 401k plan • Gender-neutral parental leave • $1,000 yearly L&D stipend • $400 monthly perks stipend • Pet insurance
