You will design, build, and maintain backend services and web applications used at large scale, working across the stack from RESTful APIs to user interfaces. **What You'll Do** • Design and build backend services and RESTful APIs • Build, integrate, and maintain web user interfaces • Design and develop large-scale database-backed applications • Contribute to technical design discussions and code reviews • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software **What You'll Bring** • 7+ years of experience in software product development with customer-facing systems at scale • Strong experience with Java, REST APIs, and relational/NoSQL databases • Practical experience designing and implementing microservices • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks • Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud-based deployments **Preferred** • Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud-native environments • Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) **Why Join OneSpan** • Lead strategy for a market-leading passkey solution • Work at the frontier of FIDO2/passkey technology • Collaborate with global security experts • Shape a category-defining product in the passwordless movement • KuppingerCole 2026 Leadership Compass leader in Passwordless Authentication **Salary:** $160,000 - $195,000 (depending on experience) **Location:** San Jose, CA (Onsite) **Authorization:** Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
