Trusted by 60% of the world's top 100 banks, we protect over 300 million endpoints globally. **About the Role** We're seeking a Technical Software Lead to join our team in San Jose, CA. You will own the design and delivery of scalable, secure backend services for our authentication and identity platforms, set the technical bar for a distributed engineering team, and guide architecture and code quality. **What You'll Do** • Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performing services and REST APIs • Provide technical leadership for a distributed team through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring • Drive scalability, reliability, and security across distributed systems • Partner with Product, Security, and Platform teams to deliver high-impact features • Champion best practices for zero-downtime deployments, observability, and system resilience • Drive adoption of AI coding tools across the team • Present and demonstrate product value to internal and external audiences **What You'll Bring** • 12+ years of software product development experience • 7+ years as a technical lead for product development teams • Proven experience with identity and authentication platforms • Strong expertise in Java, distributed systems, and API design • Experience with zero-downtime deployments and production-grade systems • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based deployments **Preferred** • Experience using and leading teams in AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) **Salary:** $175,000 - $225,000 **Requirements:** Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without employer sponsorship.
