**Staff Engineer - Experimentation Platform** **About Faire** Faire is a technology wholesale platform connecting independent retailers globally with products from around the world. We're using tech, data, and machine learning to power the shop local movement. **About This Role** We're seeking a highly experienced technical leader specializing in experimentation infrastructure. You'll define and execute the technology roadmap for our centralized experimentation platform, influencing all users across product teams, analytics, data science, and strategy functions. **What You'll Do** • Define and execute long-term strategy for experimentation and measurement company-wide • Establish technology roadmap for centralized experimentation platform powered by Eppo • Partner with Strategy & Analytics, Product Management, Data Science, and other key consumers • Build measurement infrastructure, experiment lifecycle, governance, and self-service tooling **Key Qualifications** • Extensive experience designing, building, and scaling experimentation platforms in SaaS/marketplace environments • Deep understanding of A/B testing, multivariate testing, feature rollout, and progressive delivery • Experience with commercial or open-source experimentation platforms (Eppo experience valuable) • Strong knowledge of modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks) • Expertise in data quality and observability tools • Strong SQL skills and ability to design scalable analytical data models • Experience: AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, Spark, Python, Kotlin **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 San Francisco: $231,000 - $318,000/year 📈 Equity and comprehensive benefits included 🏢 Hybrid: 3 days/week in office (Tue, Thu, + flex day) + 4 weeks remote/year **Why Join Faire** ✨ Move fast with meaningful problems and clear results 🛠️ Access to latest enterprise AI tools 👥 Sharp, kind colleagues invested in your growth 💎 Competitive pay, equity, and comprehensive benefits 🤝 Inclusive environment with equal opportunity for all *Faire provides equal employment opportunities and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.*
