**Principal Software Engineer, Services/DevOps - Wild Rift** **About the Role** Lead the development of key features and set high standards of engineering excellence for Wild Rift. You'll leverage deep technical expertise to enhance player experience, work closely with leadership to set technical vision, and support a cross-disciplinary engineering team. **Key Responsibilities** • Define engineering strategy and technical roadmap for global services and infrastructure • Manage and scale multiple engineering disciplines across the product lifecycle and live operations • Lead long-term evolution of game services and infrastructure with sustainable operating models • Drive technical/architectural discussions and decision-making across the organization • Partner with product and delivery teams on features, roadmap, and team effectiveness • Coordinate with Riot Central technology teams for world-class solutions • Own technical success including systems, services, AI adoption, infrastructure, and DevOps • Hire and develop software engineers; support performance and career growth • Create a culture of leadership by fostering diverse perspectives **Required Qualifications** • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience • 8+ years as a software engineer in game development, Infra/SRE, or software engineering teams • 4+ years as a tech lead guiding game services, infrastructure, DevOps, and live operations • Proven ability to translate technical vision into executed roadmaps with adaptive course-correction • Experience leading technical discussions (design reviews, code reviews) across organizations • **Mandarin fluency required** **Desired Qualifications** • Co-dev environment experience • Experience with Game Client, game systems, Infrastructure, privacy/security, Trust & Safety, or live service games **What We Offer** Open PTO, flexible work schedules, medical/dental/life insurance, parental leave, and 401k with company match.
