**Senior Android Engineer, Wallet** **About the Role** Join the Robinhood Wallet team to build secure, intuitive, and decentralized products that enable users to custody and manage their digital assets. You'll develop reliable and secure solutions for cryptocurrencies and tokenized stocks, including perpetual futures, for customers worldwide. **What You'll Do** • Build intuitive, elegant, and stable mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs • Lead the full lifecycle of product features—from ideation and technical design to implementation, testing, and release • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists • Champion mobile development standards and code review processes • Mentor other developers and elevate team standards **What You Bring** • 5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications • Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, and strong grasp of Android SDK and architecture patterns like MVVM • Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room • Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused perspective • Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions **Bonus Points** • Experience with DeFi protocols, crypto wallets, or blockchain companies • Familiarity with EVM blockchains and smart contracts **Location & Schedule** Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY | 3+ days per week in-office **Compensation (Base Pay)** • Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC): $196,000–$230,000 USD • Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL): $172,000–$202,000 USD • Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL): $153,000–$179,000 USD *Plus bonus opportunities, equity, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, parental leave, and more.*
