**Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)** **About the Role** Keeper Security is hiring an Information Systems Security Officer to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team. This is a 100% remote position from select locations, with hybrid schedule options for Chicago, IL metro area candidates. Reporting to the Senior Director of GRC, you'll oversee security posture and compliance readiness of assigned information systems, working closely with Engineering, DevOps, IT, Security and Compliance teams. **Key Responsibilities** • Serve as ISSO for assigned systems and environments • Develop and maintain System Security Plans, control narratives, and security documentation • Support FedRAMP High, GovRAMP High, DoD Impact Level 5 and related authorizations • Coordinate security control implementation and validation across technical teams • Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) • Support continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance activities • Review system changes for security and compliance impacts • Coordinate with assessors, auditors, and government stakeholders • Maintain audit evidence and ensure assessment readiness • Track security metrics and communicate status to leadership **Requirements** • 5+ years in information security, assurance, compliance, or related role • Experience as ISSO, system security analyst, or similar for regulated systems • Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and Risk Management Framework • Experience with FedRAMP, GovRAMP, or DoD authorization programs • Hands-on experience with SSPs, control narratives, POA&Ms, and assessment evidence • Understanding of cloud/application architectures and AWS environments • Knowledge of vulnerability management, access control, encryption, incident response • Excellent communication skills with engineers, auditors, and government stakeholders • U.S. Citizen (required for GovCloud/FedRAMP work) • Ability to pass enhanced security background check **Preferred Qualifications** • FedRAMP High, GovRAMP High, or DoD IL5 experience • Cloud-native SaaS and AWS architecture experience • Familiarity with automated compliance and continuous monitoring tools • SOC 2, ISO 27001, or commercial compliance framework experience • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CAP/CGRC, Security+, or CCSP **Benefits** Medical, Dental & Vision • Life Insurance • 401(k) • Generous PTO • Above-market bonuses **About Keeper** Keeper Security protects thousands of organizations and millions of people in 150+ countries.
