We operate with a flat organizational structure—employees are expected to be hands-on, communicate clearly, and contribute directly to the mission. --- ### About the Role The **X Developer Platform** team owns the partner ecosystem that connects X with **B2B and B2C developers** worldwide. X reaches **500M+ active users** and generates billions of posts weekly—creating signals and capabilities beyond conversation. Your mission is to make that value available to developers as the **“everything API”**, enabling anyone to build products on top of X. Behind the scenes, the team collects, processes, enriches, and delivers **hundreds of billions of signals per day**. **X Developer API Products Include:** - Real-time delivery of public posts and events (filtered/enriched per use case) - Search and retrieval across X’s full historical public archive - APIs for creating, publishing, and managing content and interactions programmatically - Engagement, audience, and performance data for analytics and measurement - Enrichment layers that add context, structure, and relevance signals - Interfaces designed for programmatic consumers (including agents) to read and act safely - Developer tooling, documentation, and self-serve onboarding --- ### Responsibilities - Collaborate with engineering, product, business leadership, and cross-functional teams - Maintain and improve systems for existing customers while designing and shipping new platform products - Design clean, reliable, well-abstracted solutions for scale, correctness, and developer experience - Help shape platform architecture as it grows to serve new consumer categories (including agents) --- ### Basic Qualifications - **MS or BS in Computer Science** - **5+ years** of industry experience building commercial software applications/services - **Distributed Systems** experience (Kafka experience is a plus) - Experience with **RPC frameworks** and **microservices** - Strong understanding of core CS concepts (data structures and algorithms) - Front-end development experience (e.g., **HTML, CSS, JavaScript**) - Cloud experience (e.g., **AWS, Azure, Google Cloud**) --- ### Compensation & Benefits - **$180,000 – $440,000 USD** (base salary) - Equity and comprehensive benefits, including medical, vision, and dental - 401(k) retirement plan - Short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance - Additional discounts and perks *SpaceXAI is an equal opportunity employer.
