## Overview The Music Mission team owns Spotify’s end-to-end proposition for music creators and the experiences they create for fans. We build tools and services that enable creation, promotion, expression, and monetization at scale. We’re looking for a **Senior Data Scientist** to join the **Artist-First AI Music lab**. Our team explores and advances generative technologies for music to create new experiences for fans and artists—especially listening experiences that center and celebrate artists and creatives. ## What you’ll work on - Advance generative technologies for music to build new fan and artist experiences - Focus on listening experiences that strengthen artist-fan connection - Help develop products that put artists and songwriters first ## Artist-First principles All of our products are guided by four principles: 1. **Partnerships** with record labels, distributors, and music publishers — develop new products through upfront agreements 2. **Choice in participation** — artists and rightsholders decide if and how to participate 3. **Fair compensation and new revenue** — create new revenue streams and ensure proper compensation and transparent credit 4. **Artist-fan connection** — AI tools won’t replace human artistry; they’ll enable new ways to create and connect ## Learn more For more information, see the press release: https://newsroom.spotify.com/2025-10-16/artist-first-ai-music-spotify-collaboration/
