About this role

## Tremendous — GTM Engineering Manager Tremendous is a global platform that helps businesses send thousands of payouts to anyone, anywhere, for free. Trusted by 20,000+ leading organizations (e.g., Atlassian, MIT, United Way), Tremendous delivers gift cards and money to millions of recipients worldwide. We’re **fully remote**, **documentation-first**, and **low-meeting**, with a culture designed to make work more efficient, flexible, and fulfilling. We’re also **profitable and growing without outside investors**. --- ## About the role We’re looking for a **GTM Engineering Manager** to lead our team of **GTM engineers** within our **Revenue Operations (RevOps)** organization. Our Revenue Operations team operates like a product and engineering org: planners define what Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success need, and GTM engineers design and build it using **LLMs, workflow tools, and code**. You’ll own how the team works—its **standards**, **infrastructure**, and the **growth** of the people on it—while staying hands-on building the systems that make the whole team faster. --- ## What you’ll do - **Manage and develop** a team of GTM engineers across **marketing, sales, and platform work** - **Hire** the next team members - Set the team’s engineering practices: **version control, review, documentation**, and **ownership** for every workflow, agent, and integration in production - Build the team’s **infrastructure**, including agents and tooling that keep work **assigned, tracked, and current** - Partner with GTM planners on the roadmap: bring a build-side view on **feasibility** and **sequencing**, and assign the right builder to the right project - Act as the team’s ambassador to **AI enablement engineering**, shaping how work moves from **prototype** to **long-term ownership** - Own relationships with **technical vendors** the team builds on (e.g., **Cargo**) --- ## What you’ll bring - **7+ years** across RevOps, GTM engineering, marketing/sales ops engineering, or internal tools—**with real hands-on building** - **2+ years** managing builders or technical roles, with people you’ve grown into stronger roles - Strong builder background: **AI agents**, workflow tools (e.g., **Cargo, Clay, n8n, Zapier** or similar), **APIs**, **webhooks**, **Git** - Engineering-manager instincts: you’ve established **review, documentation, and rollback** practices for systems others depend on - Fluency across the GTM funnel: **marketing, sales, and customer success** - **Strong written communication** (we’re documentation-first) - **Autonomous and self-directed**; not someone who waits for instructions - **High empathy** and care for teammates and end users --- ## Nice to have - **HubSpot** depth (workflows and APIs) - Daily habit of **AI-assisted development** (e.g., Cursor, Claude, or similar) - **SQL** and **Snowflake** - Experience standing up a GTM/RevOps engineering team from a small group - Usage-based or fintech GTM experience --- ## What’s cool about the role - The team **already exists and is shipping**—you’ll make a strong team faster, not start from scratch - The company is **AI-forward** (e.g., Cursor daily, regular AI tool evaluations, leadership fully bought in) - **Profitable and growing** without outside investors - **Competitive pay, equity, and benefits** **Compensation:** Base salary **$190,000–$230,000** **Location:** **Fully remote (US Remote)** --- See our **company handbook** for more details.
