We seek interns who demonstrate strong academic performance, engagement beyond the classroom, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine interest in Zoox’s mission. ## Role Overview **Software Platforms & Product** builds the platforms, firmware, tools, and applications that connect the Zoox vehicle to the fleet, to our engineers, and to riders. Interns work on a project that helps ship and run that software reliably, safely, and at scale. ## Potential Team Opportunities Interns in this pipeline may be considered for opportunities across a range of teams, including: - **Robot Link Platform & Maestro**: Connects the vehicle to the cloud and the fleet. - **Firmware**: Embedded software for the vehicle’s control units, including motion, power, body, and safety systems, plus core system services. - **Platform Software Integration**: Integrates hardware, firmware, and software; manages releases; builds firmware tools and hardware-software integration systems. - **Software QA**: Tests vehicle software against requirements, analyzes failures from road data, and builds the automation that does it. - **Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)**: Keeps production services reliable and observable. - **Rider Software**: Builds the rider-facing mobile and in-vehicle experience.
