We help transform data into actionable intelligence through secure DevSecOps practices, advanced workflows, and modernized data operations. --- ### Position Summary The **Junior Site Reliability Engineer** supports the engineering, deployment, and operation of One IT’s infrastructure and platform services. This hands-on role includes **on-premises data center operations**, **server infrastructure**, **virtualization**, **networking**, and **automation**. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to maintain reliable and secure environments, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve operational processes—building foundational skills in infrastructure engineering, automation, and platform reliability. --- ### Role Expectations - Typically has a **university degree (BA/BS)** in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience. - Supports day-to-day infrastructure engineering and operational objectives under general supervision. - Performs **server deployment, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting**, and basic automation tasks. - Applies foundational knowledge of **operating systems, networking, virtualization, and infrastructure operations**. - Follows established engineering practices, **documents work**, and **escalates issues appropriately**. - Demonstrates **technical curiosity, accountability, collaboration**, and willingness to develop engineering skills. --- ### Contract Specific Qualifications - Foundational **Linux or Windows administration** and **networking** knowledge. - Hands-on experience with **server hardware**, **rack and stack**, **cabling**, or **data center operations**. - Exposure to virtualization platforms such as **VMware**, **Proxmox**, or **Hyper-V**. - Basic scripting/automation experience using **Python**, **Bash**, or **PowerShell**. - Familiarity with **infrastructure monitoring**, troubleshooting, and configuration management. - Strong **problem-solving**, **communication**, and willingness to learn new technologies. --- ### Pay Range **$65,600 — $111,500 USD** The posted pay range reflects the national salary range for this position. Actual salary will be determined based on position requirements and job-related factors (e.g., location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications).
