**NetSuite Developer / Admin** ## About EDB EDB provides a data and AI platform that helps organizations harness the full power of Postgres for transactional, analytical, and AI workloads across any cloud. EDB supports 1,500+ customers globally and is a leading contributor to the PostgreSQL community. ## Role Overview Hybrid role (weighted toward development). You’ll own, extend, and automate EDB’s NetSuite environment—keeping it stable and well governed day to day while spending most of your time building: - SuiteScript customizations - Integrations - Workflow automation - AI-enabled features that reduce manual work across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Support **Time split:** ~60% development & integration, 40% administration ## Key Responsibilities ### Development & Customization - Design, build, test, and deploy **SuiteScript 2.x** solutions (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, Workflow Action) - Build and maintain **SuiteFlow** workflows, custom records, forms, fields, and saved searches - Develop **SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST)** and **RESTlet** integrations between NetSuite and CRM, banking, and other data platforms - Write clean, documented, version-controlled code and follow **SDF (SuiteCloud Development Framework)** deployment practices ### AI & Automation (Mandatory) - Identify and deliver AI use cases in NetSuite, such as: - Invoice/document data extraction - Transaction classification - Anomaly detection - Forecasting support - Natural-language reporting - Integrate **LLM APIs** (e.g., Claude API) and **NetSuite N/llm** into scripts/workflows with proper prompt design, guardrails, and logging - Use AI coding assistants to speed up development, code review, and test creation—while validating outputs - Evaluate AI features and third-party AI tools for fit, cost, security, and data privacy ### Administration & Governance - Manage users, roles, permissions, subsidiaries, accounting periods, and segregation-of-duties controls - Maintain sandbox/production environments, release management, and the **2-per-year NetSuite release testing cycle** - Monitor script performance, governance limits, integration failures, and data quality; resolve issues quickly - Support month-end close and audit/compliance (SOX-style) requirements with accurate configuration and documentation ### Collaboration & Support - Gather requirements from Finance, Sales, Ops, and other teams; translate into technical designs - Provide tier-3 support, user training, and clear documentation - Mentor junior admins/analysts and contribute to NetSuite roadmap planning ## Required Qualifications - **5+ years** hands-on NetSuite experience in a combined admin + developer capacity - Strong **SuiteScript 2.x (JavaScript)** skills (debugging, governance management, performance tuning) - Proven experience with **SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches, and SDF deployments** - Experience building/supporting integrations using **REST/SOAP**, RESTlets, JSON, and **OAuth 2.0** - Solid understanding of NetSuite financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Revenue Recognition, Inventory, Procurement) and role/permission design - **AI skills (mandatory):** demonstrated experience applying generative AI/ML to business systems (prompt engineering, calling LLM APIs from code, daily use of AI coding assistants) - Ability to describe a real AI-enabled solution you shipped or prototyped - Working knowledge of **Git** and sandbox-to-production release
