We’re a **100% remote** company with team members across **40+ countries**. --- ## The Opportunity Grafana Labs is seeking a **Manager for the Solutions Architects team**. You’ll lead a group of technologists who leverage Grafana products to deliver successful customer outcomes. You’ll collaborate directly with key clients to deploy and enhance Grafana technologies, champion observability best practices, and work with Professional Services leadership to drive continuous improvement and operational rigor. You’ll also partner closely with **Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Product** to build resilient observability solutions aligned with customer and business objectives—including crafting **Statements of Work (SOWs)**, resourcing and managing customer projects, driving operational scale, and handling customer escalations. --- ## What You’ll Be Doing - Manage a team of **Solutions Architects**, ensuring effective utilization and successful customer outcomes - Ensure team success in designing and building outcomes on the **Grafana technology stack** - Build educational programs to enhance customer capabilities with Grafana - Advise on sales strategies to drive adoption, improve renewals, and increase revenue - Build lasting customer relationships to enable advocacy and referenceable customers - Balance operational management with hands-on technical contributions --- ## What Makes You a Great Fit - **3+ years** managing a Solutions Architecture team (or related space) - **5+ years** design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications - **3+ years** in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, applications, and networking (or similar) - **2+ years** in technology/software pre-sales or technical consulting - **Located in CST** - Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies - Strong presentation skills with comfort speaking to customers and executives **Nice to have / additional strengths:** - Experience building/maintaining observability solutions - Excellent communications and writing skills - Kubernetes (K8s) - Linux experience (2+ years) - Shell scripting and API knowledge - Observability/monitoring background - High emotional intelligence for client escalations, cross-functional negotiations, and team empathy --- ## Compensation & Rewards In the US, the **OTE** range for this role is **$184,000 – $220,000**. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skills. All roles include **Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)**. *Compensation ranges are country specific.
