Senior AI Product Builder - Design-Led

About this role
## About G2 G2 is the world’s largest and most trusted software marketplace—helping businesses make better decisions with trusted insights from real software users. G2 has joined forces with Capterra, SoftwareAdvice, and GetApp to create a centralized source of online data and software insights for the age of AI. ## About the Role G2 is investing in a new kind of product function: **builders** who work seamlessly across **product, design, and engineering**, using AI to close the gap between an idea and a shipped product. As a **Senior AI Product Builder**, you’ll be one of the first people in this model—taking ownership of a product area, shaping the experience based on what you hear from real customers, and carrying ideas through to a working product. **What makes this role different:** - Highly independent: interpret open-ended problems, decide what’s worth pursuing, and ship. - Treat AI as a natural part of how you build (not a separate tool). - Confident making product and design calls without a fixed plan. ## Detailed Responsibilities **Product Vision & Strategy** - Define what to build and why—turn raw customer insights into product hypotheses, test them, and translate into a roadmap. - Balance user needs, business outcomes, and technical feasibility without needing a committee to translate between them. - Move fluidly between product, engineering, and design—no handoffs, just fast, high-quality creation. **Building & Shipping** - Write production code, prototype in a low-code/AI environment, or work deeply with engineering partners—you’ll be hands-on. - Use AI coding tools (and related approaches) to accelerate building and shipping.
