Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country. --- ## Description Captivation Software is looking for a **senior level Software Integration Engineer** responsible for supporting the team and mission services. The environment provides several **containerized services** that customers can provision and access on demand inside of a **Kubernetes cluster**. In this position, you will: - Perform **maintenance and troubleshooting** of containerized applications - **Upgrade services** - Assist customers using the systems - Develop required software for **new functionality and services** --- ## Requirements ### Security Clearance - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph** - Therefore, all candidates must be **U.S. citizens** ### Minimum Qualifications - **Bachelor’s Degree** in Computer Science (or related field) and **8+ years** integrating/installing/configuring/upgrading/compiling/supporting **COTS/GOTS** software in a heterogeneous OS environment - OR **5 years** full-time Computer Science directly related work (substitutable for a degree) plus **8+ years** demonstrable experience - An industry recognized professional certification (as defined in the TT0s) may substitute for **1 year** experience - A **Master’s Degree** may substitute for **2 years** experience ### Required Skills - Experience using the **Linux CLI** and **Linux tools** - Experience writing **Bash/PHP scripts** to automate administrative tasks and workflows - Recent software development experience using **Python** and **Java** - Experience with **IaC** principles and automation tools such as **Ansible** - Experience with **CI/CD** principles, methodologies, and tools such as **GitLab CI** - Experience with **containerization** technologies such as **Docker** - Experience creating documentation of **configurations, procedures, and system changes** - Experience with **Git** for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration ### Desired Skills - Experience sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment - Experience interacting/training external customers --- **Note:** This position is open for **direct hires only**. We will not consider candidates from third-party staffing/recruiting firms. --- ## Benefits - **Annual Salary:** $130,000 - $270,000 (depends on years of experience) - **Up to 20% 401k contribution** (no matching required; vested from day 1) - **Above market hourly rates** - **$3,600 HSA contribution** - **6 weeks paid time off** - Company paid **medical/dental/vision**, **life insurance**, **short-term & long-term disability**, and **AD&D**
