## Software Integration Engineer 3 - DevOps ### Overview Captivation has built a reputation on providing customers exactly what is needed in a timely manner. We’re looking for a senior-level **Software Integration Engineer** to serve as the **primary customer-facing operations point of contact**, managing request triage, gathering and scoping technical requirements, and providing standby support for ad-hoc critical thinking requests as directed by the mission customer. ### Requirements **Security Clearance** - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph**; therefore, all candidates must be **U.S. citizens**. **Minimum Qualifications** - **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science (or related) and **8+ years** integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting **COTS/GOTS** software in a heterogeneous OS environment. - Or: **5 years** full-time CS directly related work (substitutable for a degree) plus **8+ years** demonstrable experience. - An industry-recognized professional certification (as defined in the TT0s) may substitute for **1 year** experience. - **Master’s degree** may substitute for **2 years** experience. **Required Skills** - Linux CLI - Scripting with **Shell/Bash/Python** - Linux administration (software integration, service management, configuration management, sustainment operations for provisioning, storage, and networking) - Install/configure/support **COTS/GOTS/FOSS** software, libraries, and packages on Linux - Stream/batch **Big Data** processing and analytics frameworks including **Spark** - **CI/CD** principles, methodologies, and tools such as **GitLab CI** - **IaC (Infrastructure as Code)** and automation provisioning/configuration using tools such as **Ansible** - Containerization technologies such as **Docker** - Deploying containerized services under **Kubernetes** orchestration - Monitoring with tools such as **Prometheus/Grafana** - **Git** (source control, branching strategies, team collaboration) **Desired Skills** - Experience with **Atlassian Tool Suite** (JIRA, Confluence) > **Note:** This position is open for **direct hires only**.
