Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country. --- ## Description Captivation Software is looking for a **senior level software engineer** responsible for implementing **access controls** and **permission mechanisms** to secure access to **critical HPC system resources** through robust permission management—ensuring compliance with the Agency’s security policies and industry standards. --- ## Requirements ### Security Clearance - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph**; therefore, all candidates must be **U.S. citizens**. ### Minimum Qualifications - **Master’s** in Computer Science (or related) + **5 years** experience as a SWE on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. - **Bachelor’s** in Computer Science (or related) + **7 years** experience as a SWE on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. - **9 years** experience as a SWE on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. ### Required Skills - Experience using the **Linux CLI** - **Bash** scripting to automate tasks and processes - **Python** software development - Implementing **RBAC/ABAC** for HPC systems - Advanced Linux security administration: **PAM, SELinux, file permissions, ACLs, audit logging** - IAM solutions using **Keycloak** - Identity federation and **SSO**: **SAML, OIDC, OAuth2** - Secret management integrations using **HashiCorp Vault** - **Ansible** playbooks for provisioning HPC hardware/software components - Containerization: **Docker**, **Podman**, containers - **CI/CD** principles, methodologies, and tools including **GitLab CI** - **Git** source control ### Desired Skills - Experience with **Atlassian Tool Suite** (JIRA, Confluence) - Familiar with **Agile/Scrum/SAFe** methodologies --- **Note:** This position is open for **direct hires only**.
