**Grafana Labs — Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Grafana Catalog)** Grafana Labs is the company behind **Grafana Cloud**, a fully managed observability platform trusted by 10,000+ organizations. Built on open source and open standards, Grafana Cloud helps teams unify visibility across their data—wherever it lives. This is a **full-time remote** role. **We’re considering candidates based in the US and Canada only**, within the **Eastern or Central time zones**. --- ## The Opportunity As a **Senior Full-Stack Engineer** on the **Grafana Catalog** team, you’ll help grow the Grafana plugin ecosystem. The catalog includes **300+ plugins** from Grafana Labs, commercial partners, and the open source community. You’ll own the **full plugin lifecycle**—from developer tooling and publishing, to discovery, installation, updates, review, and delivery (including the CDN serving plugins to Grafana Cloud instances). You’ll also help take the **Grafana Marketplace** (currently in pilot) forward. --- ## What You’ll Be Doing You’ll work across the Marketplace and catalog experience, including: - **Grafana Marketplace**: paid plugins, publisher onboarding, and how customers buy and access plugins - **Plugin catalog**: search, compare, and discovery on **grafana.com** and inside Grafana - **Installation & management** in Grafana and Grafana Cloud - **Plugin delivery**: publishing, signing, validation, and CDN delivery - **Plugin review**: ensuring every published plugin goes through the review process - **Developer tooling & developer portal** to help plugin developers build A typical day may include: - Building new Marketplace features across the **Grafana frontend**, **Go services**, and **grafana.com** - Improving plugin discovery and installation for both humans and agents (e.g., Grafana Assistant) - Making it easier/faster for developers to build, test, and publish plugins - Automating and improving the review process - Supporting reliability and operations for plugin installs and delivery in Grafana Cloud - Collaborating with plugin developers/partners and turning feedback into roadmap items - Proposing process improvements and working closely with the rest of the Grafana Division --- ## What Makes You a Great Fit - You can turn ideas into working code, design solutions, get feedback, and deliver large projects - You’re self-driven and understand feedback loops for roadmap decisions - You’re motivated, action-oriented, and willing to take on challenges - You’re customer-focused and enjoy building intuitive products - You communicate well and enjoy collaboration - You’re comfortable working in a remote-first environment --- ## Requirements - Solid experience with **Golang** and **TypeScript** - Experience with **React** and building user-facing web applications - Experience with **Kubernetes** and **microservices** - Experience writing clean, robust, performant software that others can maintain - Experience participating in an **on-call rotation** and performing operations/SRE tasks --- ## Bonus Points For - Built or published a **Grafana plugin** - Worked on a **marketplace/app store/package registry**, or on **billing & licensing** - Built developer tooling (e.g., **CLIs, SDKs, CI pipelines**) used by other engineers - Strong experience working with a **Product Manager** or external stakeholders --- ## Compensation & Benefits In the US, the **OTE/Base compensation range** is **USD $167,143 – $200,572**.
