About this role

## About E2B E2B is a fast-growing Series A startup with over **$37M** in funding and **8-figure revenue**. We’re building the **Agent Cloud**—the infrastructure behind AI labs and widely used consumer and enterprise agents. Our team includes original authors of **Firecracker** (AWS microVM technology powering Lambda) and alumni of **Cognition, JetBrains, Zapier,** and **Wish**. --- ## About the Role As a **Site Reliability Engineer**, you’ll build and operate the infrastructure that runs E2B in customers’ **AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure** environments. You’ll create reusable **Terraform modules**, **Helm charts**, and **Kubernetes deployment automation**, and own how this infrastructure runs in production. You’ll work closely with software engineers across Enterprise Engineering to make customer deployments reliable and easy to operate, including cloud-specific integrations, upgrades, and tooling for managing a growing fleet of customer environments. --- ## What You’ll Do - Build and maintain **versioned Terraform modules**, **Helm charts**, and **Kubernetes configurations** for supported deployments on **EKS, GKE, and AKS**. - Own **production reliability** of customer cluster infrastructure: improve **monitoring, alerting, capacity management, recovery**, and fix recurring operational issues. - Make infrastructure packages reusable across customer environments: define configuration interfaces, compatibility checks, and release processes; test **installation, scaling, upgrades, rollbacks**, and **security patches**. - Diagnose and resolve problems across **Kubernetes, cloud networking, IAM, certificates, and storage**, including **private connectivity** into customer environments. - Partner with customer infrastructure and security teams on **access controls, secrets management, isolation,** and **auditability**. - Build infrastructure automation and contribute code to orchestration services that deploy and operate E2B (tests, deployment validation, drift detection, diagnostics, runbooks). - Work with **FDE, Solutions, and Support** on complex deployments and technical escalations; join customer troubleshooting when needed. - Participate in **production on-call** for the components you own. --- ## What We’re Looking For - **5+ years** of production **SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering** experience operating business-critical services. - Deep experience operating and debugging **production Kubernetes clusters** (networking, access control, node lifecycle, scheduling, autoscaling, storage). - Strong **Terraform** and **Helm** skills (production module/chart development, versioning, testing, upgrades). - Deep expertise in **AWS, GCP, or Azure** with the ability to work across providers (networking, IAM, compute, storage). - Strong **Linux and networking fundamentals** (process isolation, filesystems, DNS, TCP/IP, troubleshooting resource constraints). - Experience using **metrics, logs, and traces** to diagnose production issues and test recovery procedures. - Ability to write automation in **Go, Python, Bash,** or similar and contribute tested changes to existing services. - Ability to explain technical tradeoffs and work through deployment issues with customer infrastructure teams. - Ability to take a problem from investigation through a **production fix**. --- ## Nice to Have - Building AI agents/apps that use tools, execute code, or run in sandboxes. - **BYOC**, self-hosted, or managed enterprise software in custom
