**SOC Manager** **About the Role** Accenture Federal Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee a **24x7x365 Security Operations Center (SOC)** for a large federal cybersecurity program. You’ll manage a tiered analyst structure that combines human expertise with **AI-driven detection and response**, own SOC performance metrics, and provide threat intelligence briefings to leadership. **What You’ll Do** - Own **24x7x365 SOC performance** and serve as the **escalation authority** - Manage detection & response KPIs (**MTTD/MTTR**) and drive continuous improvement - Lead a **tiered analyst structure**, integrating human analysts with AI-driven capabilities - Deliver regular **threat intelligence** and **SOC performance** briefings to program/client leadership - Set and evolve **SIEM/SOAR strategy** and detection use-case priorities - Lead **SOC staffing, scheduling, training, and quality assurance** programs - Coordinate incident response for significant security events and conduct **post-incident reviews** - Keep SOC processes and playbooks current with evolving threats and technologies - Coordinate with threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and engineering to enhance detection coverage **What You Need** - **10+ years** cybersecurity experience, including **5+ years** in a SOC leadership role - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (equivalent experience considered) - Deep understanding of **SIEM/SOAR**, incident response, and detection engineering - Proven experience leading and developing large technical teams in a **24x7 operational environment** **Required Certifications** - **CISSP** or **CISM** or **GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)** (required) - **GCIH** preferred (if not already held) **Compensation (Pay Range)** - **$109,500 – $224,200 USD** (for the listed states/locations in the posting) *Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no fixed deadline to apply.*
