The team focuses on autonomous coding agents and agentic automation—developing and maintaining the underlying platform, agent frameworks, and model-serving components, and partnering with other teams to help them leverage AI infrastructure to automate workflows. ### About the Job Anduril is looking for a **highly motivated Staff Software Engineer** to help build out the internal AI ecosystem—covering infrastructure and tooling for autonomous coding and agentic automation. Success on this team requires curiosity, strong communication, a product mindset, the ability to go from idea to implementation, and ownership/pride in your work. ### What You’ll Do - Propose, prototype, build, and deploy **agentic systems** that solve real-world problems using state-of-the-art techniques - Work cross-functionally across business lines to scope solutions that address pain points and manual workflows - Build and maintain **data pipelines, feature workflows, and model-serving components** for applied AI use cases - Learn and evangelize: become an expert in current AI technologies and trends and their practical applications ### Required Qualifications - An **AI mindset** with deep interest and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and practical implementations - Creative problem-solving skills; ability to simplify workflows into modular, reusable automation components - Strong intellectual horsepower - Experience taking AI systems into production (**1–2 years**) or **2–4 years** with traditional ML - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field - Experience using and optimizing AI coding assistants in a collaborative production environment - Strong stakeholder communication skills > Note: The provided description appears truncated near the end of the qualifications section.
