## About the team Music Expression builds the tools artists use to show who they are on Spotify and connect with fans. A song isn’t just a track—it can include looping **Canvas** visuals, **music videos**, **vertical video** clips, or a **countdown** to a new release. Release day can also become a shared **Listening Party**. Each squad owns part of the artist-to-fan journey, spanning: - **Video pipelines** and **serving infrastructure** - **Mobile and web clients** - **Rights systems** You’ll work closely with **Product, Design, Data Science, Research, and Product Marketing**, and directly with **artists and labels**. ## What you’ll do - Ship features that change how artists show up on Spotify and how fans experience music - Build across the stack, with real depth across infrastructure, clients, and rights-related systems ## Who you are - Excited by the intersection of **technology, creativity, and culture** - Motivated to contribute even if you don’t meet every requirement (we still want to hear from you) - Open to candidates from **all backgrounds**
