**Digital Signal Processing Engineer** **Company:** Two Six Technologies **Location:** Herndon, Virginia ## Overview Join Two Six Technologies to advance the state of the art in digital signal processing and wireless systems. You’ll work in a hands-on laboratory environment on cutting-edge R&D programs, applying deep DSP expertise to reverse engineer real-world systems, design and implement advanced wireless algorithms, and develop mission-focused RF applications. ## What you will do - Design, implement, and optimize DSP algorithms for real-world wireless systems - Perform signal detection, identification, classification, and decoding of captured waveforms - Develop and evaluate receiver, transmitter, and modem architectures for RF systems - Perform RF signal reception and transmission using common modulation schemes (FSK, PSK, QAM, OFDM, etc.) - Develop prototypes in lab environments using SDR hardware and RF test/measurement equipment - Contribute subject matter expertise in DSP, Software Defined Radio (SDR), and wireless communications systems - Help build maintainable, reusable SDR building blocks by contributing to a centralized development repository ## What you will need (Minimum Qualifications) - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field - SDR expertise (receiver architectures, channelization, modulation/demodulation, error-correcting codes, spectral analysis) - Experience designing/implementing receiver, transmitter, and modem signal chains in cellular/radio/RF systems - Knowledge of PHY and MAC concepts (waveform processing, synchronization, channel estimation, framing, link-level behavior) - Familiarity with open-source signal processing libraries/frameworks - Experience with common SDRs (e.g., Ettus USRP, BladeRF, PlutoSDR) - 3+ years with modern development languages (C, C++, Embedded C, Python) - Collaborative Git workflows (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews) - **Active Top Secret clearance** with ability to obtain/maintain **TS/SCI** ## Nice if you have - Ability to architect and implement end-to-end wireless communication systems with real-world performance requirements - Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline - Proficiency with SDR tools (e.g., GNU Radio, Radio Hacker, GQRX, Vivado, ModelSim) - Hands-on experience with DSP providers (e.g., Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, STMicroelectronics) - **Active TS/SCI clearance** ## Security Clearance - **Active Top Secret** required; ability to obtain/maintain **TS/SCI** ## Salary Range - **$118,024 – $177,035 USD** (annualized) ## Additional Notes Two Six Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
