Our team moves quickly, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to our mission. **Values:** Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job’s Not Finished. --- ## ROLE OVERVIEW As a **Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack / Frontend)** on the **Product Engineering** team, you’ll own and lead engineering projects across Harvey’s product lines. You’ll work closely with **AI, Legal, and GTM** teams to build **secure systems** that deliver customer value. You’ll help build the future of the **application layer** and **genAI products**, with experience across the stack and a strong focus on shipping. --- ## WHAT YOU’LL DO - **Scale document ingestion and processing** growing at **10x every 6 months** - **Design massive data collection** across **50+ legal jurisdictions** - Build **government-level security** for top governments and firms - Lead projects that bring AI to **web, desktop, mobile, Google Docs, MS Word, and API experiences** - Build **AI-platform and AI-native features**, including: - agentic orchestration layers - tool calls - retrieval systems - Ship across the full stack: - **Frontend:** React + TypeScript (plus CSS/TailwindCSS) - **Backend:** Python + Postgres - Architect intuitive UX and robust APIs for **streaming results**, **long-running processes**, and **complex tool-calling workflows** --- ## WHAT YOU HAVE - **10+ years** (post-BS/MS) in a **product-focused full-stack** engineering role - Experience with **React, TypeScript, CSS (TailwindCSS)**, **Python**, or related technologies - Track record of building **fast-growing SaaS products** - Track record of shipping **highly intuitive** products with strong attention to detail - Experience building **scalable, extensible** solutions across the stack to support multiple product lines - Strong programming skills and general Computer Science knowledge - **Grit**; experience at early-stage startups is a plus --- ## COMPENSATION **$231,000 – $314,350 USD** depending on location. *An applicant privacy notice may apply.
