## TheraPlug — Founding CTO / Technical Lead **Location:** Detroit preferred; remote considered **Role type:** Equity-first founding role (pre-funding) ### About the company TheraPlug is building a behavioral health platform to help patients find appropriate therapists and access care through insurance—starting in Detroit. ### What you’ll do You’ll be a hands-on technical leader who can **build alongside a lean team** and help **recruit founding engineers**. The product will support **iOS, Android, and responsive web**, including: - Patient & provider onboarding - Scheduling and secure messaging - AI-assisted therapist matching based on clinical needs, preferences, insurance, and availability - Provider credential verification and payer enrollment workflows - Insurance eligibility checks and estimated patient costs - Secure video sessions and clinician-reviewed AI documentation ### What we’re looking for - Shipped and operated **production software** (you don’t need a prior CTO title) - Relevant experience across: - Full-stack development - Mobile apps - Healthcare integrations - Sensitive-data security - Practical AI implementation - Clear architecture, accessible design, and thoughtful use of established services ### Compensation & timing This is a **pre-funding** role, so there is **no immediate cash salary**.
