We offer a fully customizable loyalty programming platform for restaurants and a consumer app designed to make every guest feel like a VIP. ### About the Team Our values and talent principles guide how we work—passion for the product, elite performance, making others better, and accountability to live our principles as we work toward our mission. ### About the Job We’re seeking a **Senior iOS UI Engineer** to bridge the gap between design and engineering—creating seamless, polished user interfaces that resonate with our users. ### Key Responsibilities - Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to refine and realize innovative user interface designs - Implement dynamic, intuitive interfaces using **Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI**, and the latest iOS technologies - Optimize UI performance across all iOS devices - Own the full software development lifecycle—from concept through deployment—delivering robust, scalable solutions ### Required Qualifications - Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects - Experience shipping and maintaining at least one app on the App Store - Expertise in **Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Cocoa Touch** - Experience with **Core Animation** and **Metal shaders** - Proven track record delivering high-quality implementations and seamless user experiences - Solid understanding of good design principles and translating them into coded design systems - Understanding of app architecture and maintaining it at scale - Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience with mobile payment solutions and digital wallets - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves - Interest in leveraging technology to revolutionize the dining experience through innovative payment solutions - Experience with (or interest in) blockchain technology and restaurants ### Pay Transparency & Benefits - **Target annual salary range:** **$180,000–$220,000 USD** (based on work location and experience) - Full-time offers may include **stock options**, **medical/dental/vision**, **flexible time off**, **401(k)**, and additional perks (e.g., quarterly budget for Blackbird dining, anniversary travel, annual learning & development stipend)—subject to eligibility and applicable taxes. ### Equal Opportunity Blackbird Labs is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
