**Senior Technical Producer — Central Technology, Infrastructure Platform** As Technical Producers at Riot, you lead passionate technical teams to create products and experiences that deliver maximum developer, operator, and player value. You guide development, clear blockers, and push projects across the finish line—while ensuring teams are sustainable and collaboration is strong. On the **Infrastructure Platform** team, you’ll drive direction and delivery across the platforms Riot ships on: **live game services in every region**, **internal tools Rioters build to do their jobs**, and a **fast-growing set of workloads**. Much of the work ahead involves extending these platforms to support emergent or underserved use cases, partnering closely with engineering leads across Infrastructure and teams across Riot that depend on what you deliver. --- ### Responsibilities - Partner with engineering managers and technical leads to develop the technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area - Own product requirements: what to build, what success looks like, and how it will be measured - Partner with engineering to evaluate designs against user needs, assess trade-offs, and pressure-test implementations - Manage delivery plans, risks, blockers, dependencies, and trade-offs; maintain clear stakeholder communication - Lead breakdown and execution of multi-month work spanning multiple teams within an initiative - Improve work systems, practices, delivery rituals, and goal setting; strengthen product feedback loops to clarify decisions and improve delivery predictability - Coordinate or facilitate day-to-day team rituals where needed within your scope - Assess team health, composition, and capacity to ensure the team is set up for success - Drive difficult technical tradeoffs with technical leaders and articulate them to non-technical stakeholders - Serve as a key point of contact for customers in your assigned scope; engage them to understand needs and coordinate new-work intake - Prioritize customer requests with relevant engineering and technical leads - Maintain an integrated view of delivery status across your scope; track progress against goals/milestones and contribute to consolidated reporting - Use customer feedback, product signals, test results, and operational data to validate problems and drive priorities - Monitor product/service health (UX, cost, usage, performance, operational effort) and turn signals into improvements - Mentor other producers and contribute ideas beyond your immediate ownership --- ### Required Qualifications - **6+ years** experience as a Technical Producer, Technical Product Manager, Development Manager, or relevant role on medium to large technical teams - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience - Experience applying **Agile and Lean** development processes at scale - Experience independently leading complex technical programs/projects with multiple teams and diverse stakeholders/dependencies - Broad understanding of technical systems across related areas; ability to identify and articulate multiple solutions and trade-offs - Experience defining product strategy, success metrics, and roadmap priorities for technical platforms/internal tools/operational capabilities - Ability to understand technical requirements and how technical choices affect reliability, operations, and developer/player experience - Strong understanding of product management and
