**About ChargePoint** ChargePoint (NYSE: CHPT) powers one of the world’s leading EV charging networks and delivers hardware, software, and mobile solutions across North America and Europe—helping make e-mobility a global reality. **Reports To** Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer **What You’ll Be Doing** As a hands-on architectural leader, you’ll: - Rationalize and replace redundant commercial SaaS applications with modern internal AI agents and custom micro-apps - Modernize the SDLC with end-to-end testing and deployment automation, while enforcing strict security and AI safety guardrails - Partner with executive IT leadership and lead a blended global engineering organization to deliver scalable, high-velocity capabilities that reduce procedural friction **What You’ll Bring** - Drive the architectural roadmap to eliminate cross-system silos across Salesforce, NetSuite, billing, and customer operations - Lead the strategy to “agentify” enterprise users across Sales, Support, Finance, and Operations using autonomous and semi-autonomous AI copilots - Identify and execute opportunities to rationalize or replace high-cost specialized third-party SaaS with internal AI-driven micro-applications - Re-engineer and optimize business processes to eliminate manual reconciliations and procedural friction - Enforce AI governance, prompt evaluation standards, hallucination mitigation, and execution boundaries for autonomous agents - Define canonical data architectures and golden record standards across accounts, customers, and assets - Modernize platform SDLC with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools - Track platform unit economics, SaaS spend reductions, and automation ROI with executive KPI dashboards - Mentor and scale a high-velocity blended engineering model (in-house architects, global/offshore teams, and specialized partners) **Requirements** - 12–15 years of experience in enterprise application architecture, software engineering, or platform systems delivery - 4–7 years leading and scaling architectural/engineering teams across distributed or global environments - Deep hands-on architectural experience with enterprise platforms—especially Salesforce (Sales/Service/CPQ) and NetSuite ERP - Proven track record implementing production AI harnesses, autonomous agent frameworks, and generative AI copilots - Ability to analyze corporate software portfolios, architect cost-effective internal alternatives, and optimize cross-functional processes - Deep fluency in event-driven integration patterns, application security, AI safety guardrails, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO, GDPR) - Strong executive presence translating architectural trade-offs and automation ROI into clear leadership narratives - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/Information Systems (or equivalent practical experience) **Location & Work Model** Campbell, CA — Hybrid (3 days/week) **Compensation & Benefits** - Base salary range: **$235,043 – $310,500** per year - Eligible for a new hire RSU grant and annual merit-based RSU grants - Comprehensive benefits: health/dental/vision, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, life & disability insurance, wellness resources - Compensation may be adjusted based on work location **Equal Opportunity** ChargePoint is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on legally protected status.
