**Cloud Enterprise Architect** **About Accenture Federal Services** At Accenture Federal Services, we help the US federal government make the nation stronger and safer—improving outcomes for defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations. **The Job** We’re looking for an **Enterprise Cloud Architect** to set the architecture direction for **secure, resilient cloud and infrastructure environments** serving federal customers. You’ll define standards and designs engineering teams build to, guide modernization and migration work, and advise technical and executive stakeholders. This role leads through **technical direction** (not people management). **What You Will Do** - Define reference architectures and standards for cloud and infrastructure across **AWS, Azure, hybrid, and Google Cloud** - Design for **availability, resiliency, scalability, and disaster recovery** - Lead architecture for **cloud migration** and **infrastructure modernization** - Design to **NIST, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust** requirements; lead security architecture reviews with cybersecurity teams - Run architecture reviews and governance; define architecture requirements for **service management** and **operational readiness** - Advise program and executive stakeholders; mentor engineers and junior architects **Here’s What You Need** - **7+ years** experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering/architecture, including **3+ years** as an architect or senior technical lead - Deep design experience in **AWS or Azure**, with working knowledge of the other - Strong grounding in **networking, compute, storage, virtualization**, and **Windows/Linux** environments - Experience designing **highly available, resilient** architectures, including **disaster recovery** - Knowledge of **NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, ATO processes**, plus **identity and Zero Trust architecture** - Understanding of **Infrastructure as Code**, **CI/CD**, and **DevSecOps** to set standards and review designs - Working knowledge of **ITIL** and **observability** platforms - Ability to clearly explain trade-offs to executives and engineers - **Must have an active Top Secret clearance** **Would Be Nice To Have** - Certifications: **AWS Solutions Architect Professional**, **Azure Solutions Architect Expert**, or **Google Professional Cloud Architect** - **CISSP** (or equivalent) and **ITIL** certification - Experience in federal agencies or other highly regulated environments - Experience with data center consolidation or enterprise modernization programs - Familiarity with cloud cost management **Pay Range (where applicable)** $111,400 – $187,500 USD (base pay range for listed locations) **Equal Employment Opportunity** Accenture Federal Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and is committed to creating a culture of respect, belonging, and equal opportunity. **Requesting an Accommodation** If you need reasonable accommodation during the recruiting/interview process or to perform essential job functions, speak with your recruiter.
