## Senior Architect, Enterprise Agentic Automation ### About Camunda Camunda is the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration—coordinating AI agents, people, and systems across complex, end-to-end business processes. Camunda is fully remote and global, and is transforming into an **AI-first organisation** built on its own platform. ### About the Role Camunda runs **Camunda on Camunda**. The **Enterprise Agentic Automation Team (EAAT)** builds production-grade agentic orchestration using Camunda’s platform for Camunda’s own operations (e.g., Finance, Support, Go-to-Market). As **Senior Architect**, you own delivery of EAAT-led initiatives **end to end**—from discovery and process redesign through technical delivery and proving value in production. You don’t just design and hand off; you stay engaged until it works in production and continue evolving it. ### What You Will Do - **Own delivery** of use cases end to end (business + technical), from discovery through production and value realization - **Run discovery** with process owners: establish the as-is baseline, define the target process, and decide where agents, rules, or humans handle each step - **Translate target processes into buildable epics**: scenarios, acceptance criteria, and increments - **Design solutions** within Camunda’s reference architecture, introducing new patterns based on lessons learned - **Lead technical delivery management**: plan increments, manage dependencies/risks, and keep process owners and sponsors aligned - **Define and track value** per initiative and increment, ensuring business decisions keep moving - **Feed learnings back** into the reference architecture, delivery method, and Camunda’s product ### What You Bring - Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda’s product: https://accounts.cloud.camunda.io/signup **Must Haves** - **7+ years** in solution architecture or technical/process consulting, with an engineering background (e.g., Java, JavaScript, or similar) - Proven experience **leading process orchestration initiatives** from discovery to production (not just designing and handing over) - Strong business analysis and process management skills (including BPMN modeling and workshop facilitation) - Enterprise solution + data architecture experience (integrations/APIs and the data processes/agents need across systems) - An **AI-first mindset**, including experience designing/building enterprise-grade agentic solutions - Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and drive decisions **Nice to Haves** - Experience in Finance or other back-office domains (e.g., P2P, Q2C) - Experience building value cases from operational data (baselines, volumes, value per increment), value engineering, or benefits tracking - Experience with process intelligence/mining tools - Working knowledge of enterprise systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or Zip ### Location / Work Model - **Fully remote** - Role reference: **#LI-JS1 #LI-Remote #C1** ### Compensation & Benefits (Summary) - **Competitive, location-based salary ranges** (Annual Total Target Cash: base + 100% variable target where applicable) - United States: **$171,100 – $275,800** - United Kingdom: **£107,400 – £176,700** - Singapore: **S$212,400 – S$318,600** - Equity via **VSOP** (where applicable): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hoyQAPTZ5nV7J47
