**Senior DevSecOps / CI/CD Engineer** **Company Overview** Peraton is a next-generation national security company delivering trusted, differentiated solutions and enterprise IT capabilities for government agencies and the U.S. armed forces. **Responsibilities** - Lead the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of **secure software delivery pipelines** for a mission-critical enterprise platform supporting an Intelligence Community customer. - Establish **pipeline architecture**, **automation standards**, and **secure software delivery practices** across platform services, infrastructure, and tenant applications. - Implement **scalable CI/CD** and **GitOps** workflows. - Integrate **security controls** throughout the software delivery lifecycle. - Develop processes to **securely promote software artifacts** across environments. - Collaborate with platform architects, cybersecurity leaders, integration/testing teams, and operations to meet **mission, security, reliability, and compliance** requirements. - Provide technical leadership to improve delivery performance, strengthen **continuous authorization**, and enable consistent, secure delivery of new capabilities. **What You Will Do** - **Pipeline Architecture & Technical Leadership** - Design and implement CI/CD pipeline architectures across multiple environments. - Define engineering standards, reusable templates, GitOps practices, source control strategies, release versioning, and deployment automation. - Build scalable automation using tools such as **GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD**, or similar. - Automate builds, testing, packaging, artifact management, and deployments to containerized environments using **Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift**, or similar. - Create reusable pipeline components and self-service tooling to improve consistency and reduce onboarding time. - Establish standards for **Infrastructure as Code** and deployment automation using **Terraform, Ansible, Helm**, or similar. - Evaluate pipeline architecture, identify risks/bottlenecks, and drive improvements in performance, reliability, and maintainability. - **Secure Software Delivery & Continuous Authorization** - Integrate automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines, including **SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, container image scanning, secrets detection, and code quality**. *Note: The provided job description appears truncated after the security controls section.*
