We’re a fast-growing public company where no one is a bystander. --- ## About the role Join Roku as an **Engineering Intern** and help build the **agentic AI** powering America’s #1 TV streaming platform. Roku reaches **100M+ households worldwide**, and you’ll work on **production-grade AI agents** across products and platforms. - **Paid 12-week internship** - **June to early September 2027** You’ll be assigned a scoped project with an engineering team and matched based on your skills and interests. You’ll work on real problems such as agents that investigate failures, automate workflows, review/generate code, and help people make complex decisions—moving from prototype to something people actually use, with a mentor and real ownership from day one. --- ## What you’ll be doing - Own a well-defined project from problem definition through delivery - Build and test AI agents, copilots, and automated workflows that perform meaningful multi-step work - Connect agents to trusted data, services, and internal tools (e.g., retrieval, tool calling, orchestration) - Define what an agent can do on its own vs. when it should hand over to a person - Evaluate your work: measure performance, reliability, and failure modes; iterate with real feedback - Use AI coding tools daily, and validate outputs through testing, review, and your own judgment - Write clean, well-tested, documented code; participate in code reviews; collaborate with engineers, mentors, and cross-functional partners --- ## Apply if - You’re a **penultimate-year student** or a **final-year student planning a one-year master’s** - You have a **permanent right to work in the UK** (no student visa sponsorship) - You’re available for **full-time work for the full 12-week program** (June to early September) - You’re keen to work with AI technologies and have experience building **AI agents** and **automated workflows**
