About this role
**Software Engineer, Manufacturing & Supply Chain** **About Fluidstack** Fluidstack exists to make humanity more free. We’re building civilization-scale AI infrastructure—acquiring power, designing and building data centers, and operating them—focused on delivering **10 to 100s of GW of compute faster than anyone else**. **How we operate** - **Be a barrel:** full autonomy, own things end-to-end, take on scope without being asked. - **Insane urgency:** move fast and push everything forward. - **Reason from first principles:** challenge assumptions; the best idea wins. - **Love of the game:** long hours at high intensity to push the frontier. - **Build something that actually matters:** spend your time on work that improves the world. **The Decision Team (examples of key problems)** - **Automate the delivery of gigawatts:** turn AI infrastructure delivery steps into software (schedules, decisions, and tasks from a live knowledge graph). - **Forward-deploy beside experts:** embed with quality, sourcing, and deployment teams on factory floors to turn judgment into systems. - **Deliver every supercomputer faster than the last:** learn once, prevent issues everywhere via a shared graph. **Role scope** - **Turn the bill of materials into the order book:** templates carry price + lead time; project bills lock against builds; purchase orders derive from a single source of truth. - **Make procurement tracking trustworthy:** encode rules for lateness, status meaning, and critical path—driven by live vendor emails/documents and purchase orders. - **Close the loop from receiving to payment:** match deliveries to PO lines; track serials and cycle counts; run finance three-way matches from the same record. - **Ship manufacturing as software before the factory opens:** unify BOMs, ECNs, and drawing trees; generate inspection/test plans and first-article procedures per asset; open nonconformances with evidence. - **Embed with sourcing, quality, factory operators, and warehouse teams:** convert real-world judgment into systems for order schedules, cash demand, and payment schedules. **What we’re looking for** - Shipped production code in **Go, Python, or TypeScript** (and can pick up new languages as needed). - Built real features on **LLM APIs** (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight), **MCP servers**, and agentic frameworks; production document extraction on messy inputs. - Work daily with AI coding tools like **Claude Code** and **Cursor**, and can get agents to do useful work autonomously. - Identify problems, design solutions, and ship without waiting for direction. - Move fast under deadlines while leaving strong foundations others can extend. - Earn credibility with operators (factories/warehouses/procurement) and drive adoption in real deadlines. - Strong product taste: interfaces and workflows that match how work actually happens. **Bonus** - **MES / ERP / WMS / TMS** - BOM lineage, engineering change control, serialized component traceability - Supplier quality (NCRs, CAPA, FAI) - Three-way match and receiving reconciliation - LLM extraction over vendor documents - High-volume hardware supply chains **Benefits** - Competitive total compensation (**cash + equity**) - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Retirement plan - Generous PTO **Equal Opportunity** Fluidstack is an **Equal Employment Opportunity Employer**.
