## Compute Engineer, NPI ### About Fluidstack Fluidstack exists to make humanity more free—by building civilization-scale AI compute infrastructure. The team designs, builds, and operates data centers, focusing on delivering **10 to 100s of GW** of compute faster than anyone else. ### How We Operate - **Be a barrel:** Full autonomy; own scope end-to-end. - **Insane urgency:** Move fast and push forward. - **Reason from first principles:** Challenge assumptions; best idea wins. - **Love of the game:** High-intensity work to advance the frontier. - **Build something that matters:** Focus on impact. ### Role Scope - **Qualify next-generation compute:** GPUs, servers, and racks tested against deployment standards before the fleet sees them. - **Build and run benchmark suites:** Performance, power, and thermals under real workloads. - **Break things on purpose:** Stress, fault injection, and endurance runs to find weaknesses early. - **Write qualification reports:** Document configs, firmware, known issues—these become fleet standards. ### What We’re Looking For - Hands-on experience qualifying/validating/debugging **server or GPU** systems. - Rigorous benchmarking: reproducible methods, controlled variables, honest numbers. - Root-cause hardware failures across **silicon, firmware, and system** levels. - Strong scripting/automation over checklists. - Experience working with vendors to get fixes shipped. - **Bonus:** NVIDIA/AMD accelerator platforms; BMC and firmware depth; thermal/power characterization; Linux systems depth. ### Apply https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/fluidstack/05c2e69c-42f9-4fcb-9cf0-a467aaf98f1c ### Equal Employment Opportunity Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
