Own things end to end. - **Insane urgency:** Move fast and push the frontier. - **Reason from first principles:** Challenge assumptions; best idea wins. - **Love of the game:** Long hours at high intensity. - **Build something that actually matters:** Work that impacts the world. ## Data Center Operations Team (What You’ll Work On) - **Operate at national scale:** Your fleet will draw power comparable to some countries. - **Fly the plane while it’s being built:** Keep live sites running as new infrastructure comes online. - **Write the playbook, don’t inherit it:** Set standards for operations at unprecedented speed/scale. ## Role Scope (IaaS Team Lead) - Lead the **IaaS team** delivering compute to customers: **provisioning, isolation, and lifecycle** across the fleet. - Own the **platform layer** between bare metal and customer workloads: **images, networking, and storage integration**. - Build **self-service onboarding** to reduce customer onboarding from **weeks to hours**. - Set **platform SLOs** and engineering priorities to meet them. ## What We’re Looking For - Led teams building **IaaS** or **cloud platform layers**. - **4+ years** managing engineering teams shipping into operational environments. - Designed **multi-tenant isolation** trusted with real workloads. - Reduced **onboarding/provisioning time by an order of magnitude** (and can explain how). - Balanced platform roadmap against operational load honestly. - **Bonus:** Bare-metal provisioning, GPU virtualization/passthrough, Kubernetes, cloud networking. ## Apply Apply here: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/fluidstack/05c2e69c-42f9-4fcb-9cf0-a467aaf98f1c ## Equal Opportunity Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
