About this role

## About Fluidstack We exist to make humanity more free. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice—but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. Fluidstack builds and operates civilization-scale AI compute infrastructure, delivering **10 to 100s of GW** faster than anyone else. ## How We Operate - **Be a barrel:** Full autonomy. Own things end to end. - **Insane urgency:** Move fast and push forward. - **Reason from first principles:** Challenge assumptions; best idea wins. - **Love of the game:** High intensity, long hours. - **Build something that actually matters:** Work that impacts the world. ## The Security Team (What You’ll Help Protect) - **Secure the frontier of AI:** Model weights training artifacts are among the most valuable and targeted in technology. - **Build the security program from scratch:** Own it end to end, from bare metal to boardroom. - **Threat surface measured in gigawatts:** Protect physical and logical security across a massive compute environment. ## Role Scope — Incident Response (End to End) - **Lead incident response** across corporate, cloud, and data center environments—from detection and containment through eradication and post-incident review. - **Build detection logic, response playbooks, and forensic tooling** for an environment where the assets under threat are the most targeted model weights in technology. - **Run investigations** across a gigawatt-scale threat surface, correlating signals from **cloud, endpoint, network, and physical systems**. - **Stand up the incident response function** from the ground up: severity models, on-call rotations, and escalation paths. - **Turn incidents into permanent improvements** by partnering with security and IT to close gaps. ## What We’re Looking For - You’ve **led major security incidents** from first alert to resolution, making containment calls under pressure. - You’ve **built detection logic and response playbooks** that caught real intrusions. - You’ve run **digital forensics** across cloud, endpoint, and network evidence to reconstruct attacker actions. - You’ve **stood up or substantially rebuilt** an incident response program. - You proactively **hunt for threats** and find what existing tooling misses. - You write **clear incident reports and postmortems** that engineers and executives can act on. ### Bonus - Experience defending high-value targets (e.g., AI labs, financial infrastructure, critical infrastructure) against nation-state threat models. - Cloud-native forensics (AWS, GCP) - Detection engineering and SIEM/SOAR tooling - Malware analysis or reverse engineering ## Equal Employment Opportunity Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to protected characteristics under applicable law. ## Apply https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/fluidstack/05c2e69c-42f9-4fcb-9cf0-a467aaf98f1c
