Own things end to end. - **Insane urgency:** Move fast. - **Reason from first principles:** Challenge assumptions; best idea wins. - **Love of the game:** Long hours, high intensity. - **Build something that actually matters:** Work that impacts the world. --- ## Security Team (what you’ll help build) - **Secure the frontier of AI:** Protect the most valuable and targeted artifacts—model weights—by securing the compute infrastructure that holds them. - **Build the security program from scratch:** Own it end to end, from **bare metal to boardroom**. - **Threat surface measured in gigawatts:** Defend the physical and logical security of consequential customer infrastructure. --- ## Role scope - **Threat model OT systems and environments across the fleet** (SCADA, BMS/EPMS, cooling/power systems, sensor networks). - **Design OT architecture and segmentation** to keep a gigawatt-scale estate defensible (network zones, remote access, IT/OT boundary). - **Forward-deploy with controls engineering** to secure operational deployments (PLC code pipelines, virtualized controllers, SCADA layer). - **Act as OT security consultant** to power, controls, commissioning, and site teams—turn review requests into guidance teams can deploy. - **Partner with detection & response** to tune OT detection coverage and respond when attacks reach OT infrastructure. - **Lead engagements with hardware OEMs** on product security requirements (firmware security, tamper evidence, counterfeit detection) to address supply chain risk. --- ## What we’re looking for - Secured **substations, SCADA, or controls systems in production** (Ignition or comparable platforms, PLCs, relays, industrial protocols). - Threat modeled OT environments and translated results into **segmentation + controls** operators can live with. - Understands the **Purdue Model** and when to deviate (virtualized PLCs / software-defined OT). - Hands-on with OT security tooling such as **Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos**, or similar (and knows what each class can/can’t see). - Strong working knowledge of **BMS, EPMS, and cooling systems**. - Advanced security influence through **consultation and design review** (not mandate). - **Bonus:** NERC CIP or IEC 62443 depth; securing virtualized/containerized industrial control; commissioning-phase security at construction sites. --- **Apply** https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/fluidstack/05c2e69c-42f9-4fcb-9cf0-a467aaf98f1c **EEO / Privacy** Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
