## Customer Reliability Engineer ### About Fluidstack We exist to make humanity more free. Own things end to end—no permission required to operate outside your core role. - **Insane urgency:** Move fast and drive everything forward. - **Reason from first principles:** Challenge assumptions; the best idea wins. - **Love of the game:** Long hours, high intensity, pushing the frontier of AI. - **Build something that actually matters:** Work that impacts the world. ### Production Engineering Team (What You’ll Work On) - **Operate at national scale:** Run fleets that can draw more power than some countries, on the way to **10s to 100s of GW**. - **Fly the plane while it’s being built:** Keep live sites running flawlessly while construction continues. - **Write the playbook:** No prior operations org has run at this speed/scale—your standards become the standard. ### Role Scope - **Own reliability** for named customer workloads (clusters, SLAs, escalations). - **Debug across the full stack** (hardware → fabric → scheduler) when training runs degrade. - **Run customer-facing incident communication** with technical depth and no spin. - **Turn recurring customer pain into engineering fixes** with production teams. ### What We’re Looking For - **5+ years** of applied industry experience. - Supported **large-scale compute customers** (HPC, cloud, or AI labs) at a technical level. - Methodical debugging of **distributed systems** across layers you may not directly own. - Written incident updates customers trusted. - Push internal teams to fix **root causes** (not symptoms) and follow through until done. - **Bonus:** GPU training workloads; **InfiniBand/RoCE**, **Slurm/Kubernetes**, **NCCL debugging**. ### Equal Employment Opportunity Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
