About this role

## About Fluidstack We exist to make humanity more free. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice—but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. Fluidstack is singularly focused on delivering **10 to 100s of GW of compute faster than anyone else**, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them—spanning hardware and software. **Speed and scale** are our key differentiators. --- ## How We Operate - **Be a barrel:** Full autonomy. Own things end to end; take on scope without being asked. - **Insane urgency:** Drive everything forward as fast as possible. - **Reason from first principles:** Challenge every assumption; zero analogy thinking. - **Love of the game:** Long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward. - **Build something that actually matters:** Spend your time on work that matters to the world. --- ## The Decision Team (What You’ll Work On) Examples of key problems the team is solving: - **Automate the delivery of gigawatts:** Turn every step from land to live compute into software—schedules, decisions, and tasks generated from a live knowledge graph. - **Forward-deploy beside the experts:** Embed with quality managers, sourcing leads, and deployment engineers on factory floors and sites to turn judgment into systems. - **Deliver every supercomputer faster than the last:** Dozens of concurrent projects feed one graph so lessons learned become preventive checks everywhere. --- ## Role Scope - **Turn the bill of materials into the order book:** Templates carry price + lead time; project bills lock against building; purchase orders derive from a single source of truth (not spreadsheets). - **Make procurement tracking trustworthy:** Rules for lateness, status meaning, and critical path run in code against live vendor emails/documents and purchase orders—catch drift early and draft recovery plans before vendors call. - **Close the loop from receiving to payment:** Match deliveries to PO lines; track serial numbers; score cycle counts against accuracy gates; perform finance three-way matches from the same record. - **Ship manufacturing as software before the factory opens:** BOMs, ECNs, and drawing trees live in one model; inspection/test plans and first article procedures generate per-asset outputs; failed checks open nonconformance with evidence and rescore the vendor. - **Embed with sourcing, quality, factory, and warehouse teams:** Turn real-world judgment into systems that decide order schedules, monthly cash demand, and payment schedules. --- ## What We’re Looking For - Shipped production code in **Go, Python, or TypeScript** (and you’ll pick up whatever language the problem demands). - Identify problems, design solutions, and ship without waiting for direction or approval. - Move fast under deadlines while leaving strong data models/foundations others extend after you. - Earn credibility with operators in factories/warehouses/procurement and drive adoption inside real deadlines (e.g., production runs, quarter-end close). - Strong product taste: interfaces and workflows that match how work actually happens. **Bonus:** - MES, ERP, WMS, or TMS - BOM lineage, engineering change control, serialized component traceability - Supplier quality (NCRs, CAPA, FAI) - Three-way match and receiving reconciliation - LLM extraction over vendor documents - High-volume hardware supply chains --- ## Benefits - Competitive total compensat
