Own things end to end—no permission required to operate outside your core role. - **Insane urgency:** Drive everything forward as fast as possible. - **Reason from first principles:** Challenge assumptions; no ego—best idea wins. - **Love of the game:** Long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward. - **Build something that actually matters:** Spend your time on work that matters to the world. ### Role scope - **Lead the facilities telemetry platform:** The pipeline that takes every sensor, meter, and controller across the fleet into a single queryable system. - **Own the architecture:** Ingestion, time-series storage, and APIs used by operations, ML, and controls teams. - **Set the data standards:** Naming, units, and quality enforced at the edge so gigawatts of telemetry stay usable. - **Lead a small team** while carrying the hardest technical pieces yourself. ### What we’re looking for - Built or led **time-series or telemetry platforms** at industrial or fleet scale. - Designed ingestion that survived messy field protocols: **BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA**. - Set data standards that **stuck across teams and sites**. - Platforms with **SLAs** and operational maturity to hit them. - Leads from the front of the codebase. - **Bonus:** Timescale, Influx, or ClickHouse; edge computing; BMS/SCADA integration; Kafka or streaming systems. ### Apply https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/fluidstack/05c2e69c-42f9-4fcb-9cf0-a467aaf98f1c ### Equal Opportunity Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
