The model weights trained on our infrastructure are among the most valuable and targeted artifacts in technology—so a breach isn’t just a leak; it’s the frontier walking out the door. ## Role: Protective Intelligence and Investigations Lead ### What you’ll do - **Build the capability**: Stand up Fluidstack’s protective intelligence and investigations program from the ground up—setting analytic standards, quality expectations, and case management discipline as the company scales across multiple continents. - **Own the program end-to-end**: Threat intake & triage, monitoring, open-source research, case management, reporting, and dissemination to executives, security leadership, and operational teams. - **Mature investigations**: Partner with HR, insider threat, and cybersecurity to implement risk-based background processes and continuous monitoring aligned with Fluidstack’s scaling pace. - **Assess threats**: Conduct threat assessments and investigations on potentially threatening communications, open-source indicators, and commercial databases—using structured analytic techniques to prioritize risks and recommend actions. - **Run lean**: Establish a lean investigative framework that leverages other departments and tools across security and the wider enterprise. - **Embed intelligence in operations**: Integrate protective intelligence into hiring/onboarding, visitor & vendor management, executive travel, events, and crisis response—so operations move fast without security gaps. ### What we’re looking for - You’ve **built and scaled** a protective intelligence program or investigations function from early stage, setting standards and processes that held as the organization grew. - You conduct **open-source research and threat assessment** with rigor—finding signal in noise across social media, commercial databases, and public records, and knowing what doesn’t constitute a real threat. - You’ve worked in **high-threat or high-visibility environments** where accuracy and judgment mattered. - You can **write and brief clearly** enough to enable CEOs and security leadership to make decisions from complex, ambiguous information. - You partner effectively across functions (Legal, HR, Compliance, and Law Enforcement) on overlapping concerns without losing sight of what protective intelligence uniquely answers. ## How we operate - **Be a barrel**: Full autonomy; own things end to end. - **Insane urgency**: Move fast. - **Reason from first principles**: Challenge assumptions; best idea wins. - **Love of the game**: High-intensity focus on the frontier of AI. - **Build something that actually matters**. ## Apply https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/fluidstack/05c2e69c-42f9-4fcb-9cf0-a467aaf98f1c ## Equal Employment Opportunity Fluidstack is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
