About this role

**ABOUT FLUIDSTACK** We exist to make humanity more free. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice—but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it. Fluidstack is focused on delivering **10 to 100s of GW of compute faster than anyone else**, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them—spanning hardware and software. --- **HOW WE OPERATE** - **Be a barrel:** Full autonomy. Own things end to end; take on scope without being asked. - **Insane urgency:** Drive everything forward as fast as possible. - **Reason from first principles:** Challenge assumptions; no egos—the best idea wins. - **Love of the game:** Long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward. - **Build something that actually matters:** Spend your time on work that matters to the world. --- **THE DECISION TEAM (Examples of key problems)** - **Automate the delivery of gigawatts:** Turn every step from land to live compute into software—schedules, decisions, and tasks generated from a live knowledge graph. - **Forward-deploy beside the experts:** Product teams work with quality managers, sourcing leads, and deployment engineers on factory floors and sites to turn judgment into systems. - **Deliver every supercomputer faster than the last:** Dozens of concurrent projects feed one graph so lessons learned at one site become preventive checks everywhere. --- **ROLE SCOPE** - **Turn the bill of materials into the order book:** Templates carry price + lead time; project bills lock against a building; purchase orders derive from a single source of truth. - **Make procurement tracking trustworthy:** Rules for lateness, status meaning, and critical path run in code against live vendor emails/documents and purchase orders—catch drift early and draft recovery plans before vendors call. - **Close the loop from receiving to payment:** Match deliveries to PO lines; track serial numbers and cycle counts; run finance three-way matches from the same record. - **Ship manufacturing as software before the factory opens:** BOMs, ECNs, and drawing trees live in one model; inspection/test plans and first article procedures generate per-asset outputs from design revisions. - **Embed with sourcing, quality, factory, and warehouse teams:** Turn real-world judgment into systems that drive order schedules, monthly cash demand, and payment schedules. --- **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** - Shipped production code in **Go, Python, or TypeScript** (and can pick up whatever language the problem demands). - Built real features on **LLM APIs** (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight), **MCP servers**, and agentic frameworks; put **document extraction** into production on messy real inputs. - Work daily with AI coding tools like **Claude Code** and **Cursor**; get agents doing useful work autonomously. - Identify problems, design solutions, and ship without waiting for direction. - Move fast under deadlines while leaving foundations other engineers can extend. - Earn credibility with operators in factories/warehouses/procurement and drive adoption inside real deadlines (e.g., live production runs or quarter-end close). - Strong product taste: interfaces and workflows that match how work actually happens. **Bonus (nice to have):** - MES, ERP, WMS, or TMS - BOM lineage, engineering change control, seriali
