## Product Engineer — Roboflow ### Who we are Roboflow’s mission is to make the world programmable. Today, over 1M+ developers—including teams from half the Fortune 100—use Roboflow’s open source and hosted tools. ### What you’ll do This is a **senior product engineering** role for someone who has already shipped products real people love and is ready to **own entire product surfaces** from idea to impact. You’ll: - Ask **what to build and why** (before how) - Own projects end-to-end, from conception to feature success - Set the roadmap by advocating for the highest-priority work - Make strategy decisions with strong product judgment, user empathy, and taste - Pay close attention to product details (loading states, empty states, button copy, and friction) Work will focus mainly on the **core product** (an end-to-end pipeline for computer vision projects: image ingestion → annotation → training → deployment), and occasionally on areas like: - Integrations with marketing/sales tools - Automating internal processes - Open source projects **Example projects** - Identify and redesign a user flow users quietly hate (end-to-end) - Next-generation model-assisted labeling - Streamline onboarding - Expand annotation tools (e.g., polygonal annotations for segmentation) - Build filtering interfaces using metadata (time of day, GPS location, custom tags) - Integrate with external APIs (outsourcing annotation, analyzing deployed model performance) - Deeper integrations with Roboflow Universe and the REST API ### Who you’ll work with You’ll work directly with the **Engineering Lead** and a team of engineers. Roboflow is a distributed team (~120) with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. ### Where you’ll work Roboflow is **fully distributed** with hubs in **New York City** and **San Francisco** (and plans to open more). You can work from a hub, from home, or from co-working spaces. They also support in-person collaboration with resources like a **$4,000/yr travel stipend**. ### When you’ll work Primarily **daytime hours in the US**, with some synchronous meetings each week.
