## About Farsight AI Farsight is the agentic AI platform for financial services, helping investment banks and private equity firms fully automate highly nuanced workflows. Our flagship product is the **Office Add-in**—a native integration inside **PowerPoint, Excel, and Word**—bringing Farsight’s AI capabilities directly into the tools teams already use. We’re also building a system that learns the judgment, taste, and iteration between first and final drafts for financial deliverables. --- ## The Team We’re a team of top-tier ex-banking and engineering talent, including backgrounds from **Hugging Face, AWS, JPMorgan, Evercore, General Atlantic**, and other leading organizations. **Location:** Manhattan, New York City **Work model:** In-person **4 days/week** (Fridays are remote) --- ## Job Description Farsight is building one of the most complex AI products in the market: **agentic workflows**, **streaming outputs**, **non-deterministic systems**, **LLM orchestration**, and **enterprise-grade accuracy requirements**. You will design and implement complete technical systems informed by business needs and customer feedback—while maintaining our standard of building **clean, efficient, ready-for-change software**. Project scope will range from longer-term initiatives to bug fixes—each critical to our success. --- ## Desired Qualifications - **2+ years** of non-internship software engineering experience - **Production AI and LLM experience**: shipped LLM-powered features to real users; understands production failure modes; can build reliable systems around non-deterministic outputs - **Python** and cloud infrastructure experience (e.g., **AWS**) - Strong reasoning about **failure modes, edge cases, and scale** before writing code - Comfortable making architectural decisions with incomplete information and adapting when assumptions are wrong --- ## Above and Beyond - Experience at an **early-stage startup** or **big tech** - Understanding of **system design patterns** and **test-driven development** to build reliable, ready-for-change code - Experience interacting with customers and incorporating feedback --- ## Compensation & Benefits - **Salary:** $120,000–$170,000 (commensurate with experience) - **Equity:** Meaningful early-stage package with standard vesting (**4 years / 1-year cliff**) - **Medical, dental, and vision insurance** - **Unlimited PTO** --- ## Equal Opportunity Farsight is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
