This spans the Carrier experience, high-throughput Shipper enterprise portals, internal operations tooling, and core pricing, matching, and forecasting engines. ### About the Role As a **Fullstack Engineer** at Uber Freight, you’ll design and build end-to-end systems for the logistics platform—from **backend services and APIs** to **React-based web interfaces** used by customers. You’ll work at the intersection of **user experience** and **business logic**, partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver seamless, scalable solutions. ### What You Will Do - **Build End-to-End Applications:** Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable fullstack services and interfaces using modern technologies like **Go/Java** and **React**. - **Lead System Architecture:** Drive technical design and architectural decisions across frontend and backend distributed services. - **Champion Engineering Excellence:** Promote best practices in **testing, security, code maintainability, and deployment pipelines**. - **Drive Scoping & Product Delivery:** Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to define technical scope and deliver complex logistics features. - **Shape the Technical Roadmap:** Identify technical debt, scale bottlenecks, and architectural opportunities to influence long-term direction. - **Own Production Health:** Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-layer issues across frontend and backend in production. ### Basic Qualifications - BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience). - Minimum **3 years** of software engineering experience. *(Additional qualifications were not included in the provided description.)*
