## Implementation Specialist ### Overview You’ll be the engineer who gets customers live and winning fast. When a company signs on with Firecrawl, you land in their environment, wire up the integration, and turn “we bought it” into “it’s in production and working.” This is a **hands-on, customer-facing engineering role** measured in **time-to-value and adoption**—not tickets closed. You’ll **build, deploy, and own the outcome**. ### Location & Type - **San Francisco, CA (SF HQ)** - **On-site:** 5 days/week - **Full-Time** ### Compensation - **Salary Range:** **$209,000–$265,000 USD/year OTE** - **Equity:** Competitive (details shared during the process) ### What You’ll Do - **Own customer onboarding end to end:** scope the integration and get customers to production fast - **Work hands-on with real customer data:** build the integration and solve blockers to go-live - **Run technical discovery:** diagnose where extraction/pipelines break (usage vs. bug vs. product gap) - **Drive adoption & expansion:** partner with the Deployment team to hit team targets - **Be the trusted technical voice during rollout:** bring field learnings back to product/engineering - **Know when to solve vs. escalate:** determine when to pull in engineering ### What We’re Looking For - Experience in **implementation, forward-deployed, solutions, or customer-facing technical engineering** (ideally 3+ years) - Technical ability to **read code, use APIs, and build real integrations** - Proven ability to take customers from **signed → live in production** (with examples of the technical work) - Strong judgment: distinguish **user error vs. bug vs. true product gap** - Ability to translate between **deep technical detail and business value** - A bias toward shipping: you’d rather deliver a working integration on real data than perfect documentation **Backgrounds that often do well:** - Implementation/onboarding engineers at API/devtools companies - Solutions engineers owning the full lifecycle to production - Technical account managers who built things - Ex-founders who sold and delivered their own product ### What We’re Not Looking For - A pure backend engineer who doesn’t want to be in front of customers - A project manager who coordinates rollouts but can’t build - Someone who needs a fully-built playbook before they can run ### About Firecrawl (Quick Context) Firecrawl turns the web into data AI agents can use.
