Veeam is headquartered in Seattle and protects over 550,000 customers worldwide. ## About the Summer Internship Program The **Summer Internship Program** is designed for students entering their final year of university and offers meaningful, real-world experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - **Program dates:** June – August 2027 (**10-week program**) - **What you’ll do:** onboarding with University Relations, weekly professional development, networking events, social activities, and other experiences to support your growth ## Role Responsibilities As a **Kasten Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)**, you will: - Design, develop, and test features related to **Kasten by Veeam (K10)** in **cloud-native backup and disaster recovery** - Prepare design documents and conduct **design reviews** with the team - Prepare **test plans** for features and present them to the team - Design and develop **CI/CD test pipelines** (continuous integration and continuous deployment) for feature testing ## Qualifications - Pursuing a **Master’s degree** in Computer Science or a related field - Interest in developing, testing, and debugging **production-quality**, scalable, **multithreaded/concurrent** systems - Interest in **distributed systems**, client-server architectures - Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency) - Passion for **code quality**, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation - Impact and results-driven ## Nice to Have - Experience developing in **Go** - Interest in **databases** and/or **storage systems** (especially in public cloud) - Interest in developing for **containers**, container schedulers, and orchestration platforms - Experience contributing to **open source** ## Benefits As a paid intern at Veeam, you’ll receive: - **Paid company holidays** during your internship - **Tech stipend** to set up your workspace - **8 hours of paid volunteer time** through the Veeam Cares Program - Personal and professional development through the internship program **United States Intern Pay Range:** **$40 – $50 USD** per hour (base pay) ## Equal Opportunity Veeam is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination of any kind.
